World Ski & Snowboard Festival unveils music line up

Get ready to dance as the World Ski & Snowboard Festival Music Series returns to Skiers Plaza, nestled at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14, 2024.

This year’s lineup promises an electrifying experience on the Skullcandy Stage, headlined by renowned artists, including Chali 2Na & Cut Chemist, Nostalgix, and Night Tales. On Saturday, April 13th, the Skullcandy Stage will ignite with the dynamic performances of Chali 2Na & Cut Chemist and former Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli members.

Renowned for their infectious energy and unparalleled talent, the duo will set the stage ablaze following The Cut rail jam, sponsored by Rockstar Energy and Skullcandy. Closing out the festival on Sunday, April 14th, will be the Australian/ British Electronic duo Night Tales, captivating audiences with their distinctive blend of vocals, storytelling, and melodic rhythms, after The Slush Cup, presented by Corona. Comprised of Aaron Bannie and Kamaliza Salamba, Night Tales, has emerged as a powerful voice in progressive electronic music and are known for their unique blend of infectious vocals, compelling storytelling, melodic rhythms, urban textures, and live instrumentation within a DJ framework.

Kicking off the festival weekend on Friday, April 12, is Nostalgix, a triple-threat artist born in Iran with deep roots in the Canadian dance music scene. Known for her spunky charm and ‘90s edge, Nostalgix promises an unforgettable start to the festivities. But the excitement doesn’t end there. The official afterparty of The Cut on Saturday, April 13th, presented by Skullcandy & King Snow magazine, will feature Grandtheft and Joanna Magik performances at The Longhorn Saloon. Grandtheft, recognized for collaborations with industry giants like Rihanna and Diplo, will keep the party alive alongside Joanna Magik and her infectious energy.

On Thursday, April 11th, Monster Energy Drink will host an all-female DJ lineup at Garfinkel’s Whistler for the official Intersection afterparty. Fafa Khan and Jayemkayem will showcase their talent, representing diverse backgrounds and musical styles.

WSSF is supported by Tourism Whistler, Skullcandy, Whistler Blackcomb, Oakley, Gogglesoc, Snowbus, Rockstar Energy, Encore, Westin Resort and Spa, Whistler, Ineos Grenadier, Forecast Ski Magazine, King Snow Magazine, Mountain FM, Scandinave Spa Whistler, Helly Hansen, Corona, Nutrl, Nature Valley and Gibbons Whistler.
